Dear Night Stalker Friends and Supporters,
I trust this message finds you well and in good spirits as we step into the promising embrace of 2024. Carey and I recently returned from a rejuvenating vacation in the radiant beauty of Anguilla, a destination that offered not just sunshine but also moments of reflection and gratitude.
As we basked in the warmth of the sun, often accompanied by a cigar or a chilled glass in hand, I couldn't help but realize the profound importance of connection. The need to feel a part of something, to share joy with friends, to be seen, heard, and understood—it's the power of human connection that enriches our lives. Each one of you contributes to making this connection a vivid reality.
In 2023, your Night Stalker Foundation made a lasting impact on numerous lives through our scholarship program. Your generosity enabled dreams to flourish—a mother returned to school, a daughter followed her father's military legacy, and a son pursued his dream of engineering. Your actions transformed aspirations into reality.
I want to commend Charlie and Katie for their exceptional leadership in our Family Collaborative. Through their efforts, countless Night Stalker families were strengthened, fostering resilience and unity. This concept of the family collaborative, creating resilient, ready families is unique to the NSF. Charlie, Katie, your leadership is a beacon that makes us all feel seen and appreciated.
In the face of tragedy, our Night Stalker Foundation, alongside the NSA, stood together. C/1 and the crew of 490 exemplified unwavering dedication to positively impact families affected. Tina, Brian, thank you for your leadership in this endeavor, and this crucial work continues.
A heartfelt thank you to our Board and Advisory Board Members for your selfless dedication to leading and serving those who serve. Your commitment is the backbone of our foundation, and I am sincerely grateful for each one of you.
As we stand at the threshold of 2024, fueled by the needs we see and energized by the achievements of 2023, I am driven to make this year even more impactful. I eagerly anticipate reconnecting with each of you throughout the year. Thank you for turning dreams into reality and for being an integral part of our journey.
All of this is made possible by the power of the human connection. Each of you has shown up in meaningful ways, offering not just a helping hand but also the invaluable gift of caring. Thank you for joining us on this remarkable journey.
