OCTOBER NEWSLETTER

A Letter from our Chairman:

Dear NSF Family and Friends,

On behalf of the Board of Directors, I am proud to report the Foundation is gaining momentum and making a difference in the lives of Night Stalkers, past and present, and their Families.

With your generous support, we were able to significantly extend our reach and impact on the Night Stalker Community this year. We were very excited to launch the SOAR Family Collaborative, under the leadership of Charlotte (Charlie) Trussell--a Licensed Professional Counselor, combat veteran, and Night Stalker spouse. This focuses on developing programs to meet our community’s special needs and to build resilience in our Families and Children. Charlie is making a huge positive change, touching over 300 Night Stalker Families and well over 600 children. We look forward to building on her success by adding additional programs across the Regiment including Savannah and Fort Lewis.

I also am proud to report that our total scholarship value this year was the highest ever – over $200,000 – and our goal is to drive that over $250,000 next year. We sincerely appreciate the investment of your time, talent and treasure to our cause. We could not do it without you and look forward to your continued support, allowing us to expand our reach and deepen our impact.

Night Stalkers Don’t Quit!

FAMILIES OF FALLEN NIGHT STALKERS

FAMILIES OF FALLEN NIGHTSTALKERS

The Mission of Families of Fallen Night Stalkers (FFNS) is to serve as a peer-led family support network and to be a communication conduit between our families and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) by providing support, insight, and resources necessary to maintain and honor the lives and memory of our Fallen.

FFNS is profoundly grateful to be able to partner with the NSF to provide these resources in the form of resiliency programs, leadership training, and grief management opportunities. It is because of the leadership of NSF and its incredibly generous donors that we are able to support our mission.

Thank you!

FAMILY RESILIENCY

The SOAR Family Collaborative is a program by the Night Stalker Foundation that creates and coordinates opportunities which promote overall well-being and enhances the Special Operation Forces (SOF) family experience. We identify needs, build bridges to available resources, and provide promotive tools to the soldiers and family members of 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR).

In the last few months, SOAR Family Collaborative has impacted over 300 families at events to include: Red River Family Canoe Trip, Franklin, Tennessee Couple’s Retreat, Night Stalker Children’s Fair, and a Family Fall Festival. Our mission is to not only provide events but intentionally educate and equip all attendees with well-being resources that extend into the home.

SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT

Proximo Spirits Inc.

Proximo Spirits is an American spirits importer and international distributor, best known for importing and distributing Jose Cuervo, the world's largest-selling tequila brand.

Over the summer, Proximo Spirits conducted a promotion that selflessly benefitted the Night Stalker Foundation. From May 1st to July 31st, Proximo pledged $1.00 for every case sold of Cuervo 1800 Ultimate Margaritas to our foundation. This amounted to a $20,000 total gift, with Ashley Swindell recognized as the top Proximo salesperson during the promotion. We are extremely grateful for Proximo's generosity, directly benefiting Night Stalkers and their families.

We are also proud to announce that Ashley Swindell will be joining us at the 40th Anniversary Formal in Nashville on October 27th.
